[Rawstudio-dev] Algorithm for the the effects of exposure, saturation etc.

Hi everyone,

I started to look at the source of rawstudio and I am especially
interested in how all rs_settings are applied to the actual image. I
have already found the respective methods in rs_color_transform and I
understand that at some point the optimal function is chosen for the
given platform but I still fail to see the bigger picture. From where
are those functions called and when does it happen? Unfortunately there
is no higher architecture/design document that would make it easier to
understand rawstudio.
Another question: It is hard to read the algorithms for changing pixel
data according to the set exposure, saturation and all other settings
directly from the code itself. Did you implement a known/open formula
for this calculation?
