This behavior can be very annoying. I believe the main window should not
be miminised/unmapped/hidden, but rather disabled. In other words, the
conversion progress dialog should be a modal one.  That would remove the
"sudden popup" happening at the end of conversion - if really needed, a
sound file can be played at the end of queue conversion.
