It is from ubuntu hardy universe repository. I suppose 
http://ppa.launchpad.net/rawstudio/ubuntu repository for Hardy would
not be any better. What about Intrepid?

It would not be bad, if the fix would be put in repositories as well,
since it is a major bug.
